Dementia, Alzheimers and Memory Care
DEMENTIA AND ALZHEIMER’S
At Tessera it’s our belief that individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia deserve more care than what they can receive in a standard assisted living community.
Residents at Tessera that have memory care related needs receive care and support from highly experienced and trained staff that offers compassionate and professional dementia care.
Quality of life is on the top of our list when it comes to priorities. Anyone that experiences a tour of the facility can attest that the sense of community and belonging is what makes Tessera’s community really special.
Tessera’s level of care far exceeds state standards for an Altzheimer and dementia community, way beyond minimum standards and has been carefully designed to provide a high-quality level of care for individuals with memory loss issues.
MEMORY CARE REQUIRES A PERSON-CENTERED APPROACH
Family and friends are very important relationships for someone diagnosed with a form of dementia, they not only provide support, but they may also take on the role of caregivers.
Once these types of relationships aren’t available to the patient anymore, who will take on the role of caregiver and look after your loved one?
Who will check on their condition of health, their diet or their safety?
This is where we come in.
It’s important to recognize that people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia require specialized care, which is not always something that can be provided by family or friends.
At Tessera we work with you and your loved one to learn more about their personal routines, interests, capabilities, and needs.
This enables us to create a personalized service plan that takes into account any changes in your loved one’s routine, mental or physical condition.
THERAPY AND ACTIVITIES AND LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR LOVED ONE’S WELLNESS

At Tessera we believe that no one should be defined by the symptoms of dementia and Alzheimer’s, which is why we engage our residents physically, mentally, and socially in the activities that make them who they are.
