Tessera of Brandon’s Grand Opening featured in the below Osprey Observer article:
“The spacious apartments have been constructed, the landscaping installed and the team trained, all ahead of the opening of Tessera of Brandon, a state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care community situated in the heart of Brandon.
Located at 1320 Oakfield Dr., Tessera of Brandon is a multi-story, bright and energetic community featuring 89 studio, one and two-bedroom assisted living apartments in addition to 49 memory care suites.
Amenities at Tessera of Brandon, which seems more like a posh hotel than an assisted living community, include multiple dining venues with all-day dining from 7 a.m.–7 p.m., a coffee and juice bar, library and event center, fitness gym, hair salon, outdoor fire pit, gardens and fitness paths, bocce ball court, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry services and 24-hour health monitoring. Scheduled transportation services are available for excursions, shopping, medical appointments and day trips.
At the heart of its management services are Solvere Senior Living’s proprietary wellness philosophies Salus™ and Valeo™. Salus, Latin for ‘well-being,’ is a holistic approach that focuses on each resident’s potential to achieve his or her personal goals through engagement and connection. Valeo, Latin for ‘to thrive,’ focuses specifically on wellness initiatives for those with memory impairments and incorporates components that examine residents’ social, intellectual, spiritual and physical well-being. Examples Valeo initiatives include a program to assist memory care residents reminisce about what they have accomplished in their lifetime.
“Our goal is to have residents live to their full potential and our programs exist to make that possible,” said Tessera of Brandon’s general manager Brooke Britton.
As an example of its holistic approach to wellness, Fido is a welcome guest at the community. “Our chef will be making fresh dog biscuits for our furry friends,” said general manager Brooke Britton.
A grand opening is slated for April 26 from 4 p.m.–7 p.m. and will include tours of the community and live entertainment.
“We’re ready to open our doors to residents and become a part of the community,” said Britton.
Most apartments have been reserved but there is still space available, in both the assisted living and memory care areas.
